St Paul's Lutheran Primary School

Our school was established to provide high-quality education within a safe and caring Christian environment. It has been my privilege to be part of this wonderful learning community for the past eight years. At St Paul's, there is a feeling that we are all part of an extended family. Our teachers, parents, and students work together to make that feeling of belonging a reality. Through your interest, involvement, and cooperation with us, we hope that you will come to feel very much part of our school community.

Each student is treated as an individual, and all are encouraged to grow spiritually, emotionally, academically, socially, and physically in a caring and supportive environment. This only comes about when we all join together as a community with positive aims and purposes in mind. St Paul's is a dynamic, innovative, and future-focused school where students are supported by highly dedicated staff within a positive and safe learning environment. We provide a very contemporary learning environment where our aim is not to teach but to encourage students' to learn.

St Paul's Lutheran Primary School equips our community of learners with a Christian worldview for living through sharing the love of Jesus. Our inclusive community provides a quality future-focused education in an ever-changing world, encourages and inspires a love of active lifelong learning.

St Paul's is a Christian school that strives to operate within a Christian values framework. This is evident in the caring way staff meet students' educational needs and, at times, reach out and support families in need. We have embedded in our teaching program a Whole School Values Plan. This Plan focuses cyclically through the year on the following values:

Christ is the model on whom our values are based, and we take comfort in knowing that when we fall short, He forgives us. This free forgiveness is referred to as God's Grace and is a vital doctrine of the Lutheran Church and its schools.

The St Paul's Lutheran congregation here in Caboolture had the ambition to build a school that would serve their children's needs and provides an excellent Christian education for others in the community. In 1980 the church purchased the land the school now occupies. The school opened its doors for the first time some five years later. Over the following years, the school has slowly expanded to its current size with two classes for each grade level from Year 1 to 6 and a triple stream at Prep.

The school commenced in 1985 with just three classes. These were pioneering days. Parents, children, and staff joined together with a will. Difficulties and shortages were overcome with inventiveness and energy. The school became involved with various local activities and soon became well known within the town and surrounding districts.
