Hume offers high-quality Christian education from Prep to Year 12. Students are provided with an environment where they may achieve academic excellence, live our values, and actively engage in lifelong learning. As an Anglican School, we are bound by strong values and have high expectations in our community.

We have an open enrollment policy and welcome students from all denominations and faith backgrounds and children from families with no particular religious commitment. We believe that an education at Hume should be accessible to all who wish to enjoy its benefits. As such, fees are consciously set to be as affordable as practicable to meet families' needs. We are growing each year, and the School always has several capital developments underway. As we flourish, we continue to introduce more playground facilities in the teaching space and support our specialist programs.

Hume Anglican Grammar is a progressive, coeducational Prep-Year 12 School. We are progressive in developing buildings, facilities, and grounds and offer innovative thinking and advancements in our approach to teaching and learning.

This is led by a group of dedicated and expert teachers who practice their craft with skill and build strong relationships with our students. Our student cohort readily displays warmth, humor, and respect for one another and their teachers, a testament to our teaching styles and programs. We deliver a holistic, high-quality education driven by professional and dedicated staff.

We offer a broad, values-centered curriculum, compliant with the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). We are structured into two schools to deliver the academic program, pastoral care, and leadership organization.

Each of the schools (Primary and Secondary) caters to students' individual needs and implements practices appropriate for that developmental stage. One of the great benefits of a Prep to Year 12 school is the smooth transition we can provide between the Primary and Secondary areas. An additional class is also added in Year 7, so several new students are commencing in Secondary School. These junior secondary years are vibrant, challenging, and appropriate to adolescents.

The School is in close partnership with the local Parish of Hume and St Peter's Church, with whom we share facilities. Spiritual learning plays a part in our curriculum, and we welcome students from all denominations and faith backgrounds and children from families with no particular religious commitment.
