Within this website, you will learn that Green Valley Islamic College offers education from Kindergarten to Year 12. You will discover that the College teaches a broad range of Board-approved courses together with Islamic scripture and morals. More importantly, you will find a School with warmth, Islamic values, and integrity, which has caused it to become one of Western Sydney's most respected and sought after schools.
Green Valley Islamic College follows the curriculum guidelines set out by the NSW Board of Studies Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES), which includes the eight Key Learning Areas English, Mathematics, Science, HSIE (History, Geography & Commerce), Technology, PDHPE, Creative Arts (Music & Visual Arts) and Language (Arabic). Elective subjects are introduced at Years 9 & 10 that provide a foundation for students to shape their senior year's study program. In Years 11 and 12, students select from a range of options available. This caters to the students' needs and their choice of proposed career pathways.
Apart from the BOSTES curriculum, we also provide primary education in:
- Islamic studies – this includes Imaniyat (Tawheed and Iman), Ibadat (Taharah and Salaat), Akhlaq, Adaab and Islamic history.
- Quran Studies – memorizing selected Surahs from the Holy Qur'an with Tajweed. Prophet's Sunnah and Hadith.
