There are 26 beds 12 private rooms and 6 semiprivate rooms our patients and families. The unit provides care to patients with blood cancer diagnosis and autoimmune diseases. This includes a variety of infusion therapy such as biological and anticancer therapies. Nurses are educated on new protocols and participate in the innovation or new treatments for our special patient population. We are a collection center for cellular therapies such as Stem Cells, Chimeric Antigen Receptors (Car- T Cells) and Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TILS) via apheresis procedures. The nurses who work in MSS are educated and trained to be competent in all aspects of nursing care in the department.
