At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go. Join EY and help to build a better working world.

The Opportunity

#Consulting #SCO

As a Supply Chain Decision Intelligence Senior Manager, you will lead complex, enterprise-scale transformations that help clients improve supply chain performance, resilience, and strategic growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shape solution strategy, oversee multiple workstreams and engagement economics, and lead high-performing teams from pursuit through value realization. You will also play a significant role in growing the practice through business development, market offerings, thought leadership, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise Decision Intelligence Transformations: Direct end-to-end implementation of supply chain decision intelligence platforms (e.g., Aera, Palantir, C3.ai, etc.), establishing the program vision, delivery model, roadmap, governance, and value case across multiple workstreams.
  • Advise Executive Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with senior client leaders and translate business priorities into decision intelligence strategies that improve planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and logistics outcomes.
  • Shape Business and Solution Architecture: Oversee the definition of business requirements, future-state processes, operating models, system designs, integration needs, and transformation objectives.
  • Drive Process and Performance Improvement: Lead cross-functional assessments of current-state supply chain processes, identify value opportunities, and define measurable future-state capabilities aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee Data and Technology Enablement: Provide leadership for data readiness, migration, integration, governance, application configuration, and testing to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Own Program Delivery and Governance: Establish delivery standards, decision forums, risk controls, quality reviews, and executive reporting across complex programs and portfolios.
  • Manage Engagement Economics: Own scope, staffing, budgets, forecasts, margin, contractual commitments, and delivery performance while identifying and addressing commercial and operational risks.
  • Lead Change and Adoption: Guide change enablement, communications, training strategy, stakeholder alignment, and post-go-live support to accelerate adoption and value realization.
  • Deliver Executive-Ready Work Products: Ensure the quality of business cases, roadmaps, solution designs, functional and technical documentation, test strategies, training materials, and value-realization reports.
  • Develop and Lead Teams: Build inclusive, high-performing teams; provide coaching and performance feedback; develop future leaders; and manage senior client and internal resources across engagements.
  • Drive Business Development: Originate and shape opportunities, lead proposals and client presentations, develop scopes and pricing, negotiate delivery approaches, and contribute to account growth.
  • Build Market Offerings: Collaborate with alliance partners and practice leaders to develop repeatable assets, methodologies, demonstrations, and thought leadership in supply chain decision intelligence.
  • Advance Practice Priorities: Support workforce planning, recruiting, capability development, knowledge sharing, and strategic initiatives that strengthen the practice.
  • Travel Flexibility: Be willing to travel as needed to support client engagements.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to define a compelling transformation vision, challenge conventional approaches, and align diverse stakeholders around decisions and outcomes.
  • Strong commercial judgment, including the ability to shape opportunities, manage engagement economics, and balance client value with delivery commitments.
  • Ability to connect supply chain strategy, process, data, analytics, and technology into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex programs, multiple workstreams, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to anticipate delivery, technology, organizational, and commercial risks and intervene appropriately.
  • Commitment to developing people, fostering an inclusive culture, and building sustainable team capabilities.
  • A market-facing mindset and the ability to contribute to offerings, alliances, thought leadership, and practice growth.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of eight years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and seven years of related work experience.
  • Significant experience in supply chain management, analytics, digital transformation, or decision intelligence, including leadership of complex client engagements.
  • At least four years of experience implementing decision intelligence or advanced analytics solutions such as Aera, Palantir, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience integrating decision intelligence capabilities with ERP and supply chain solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP IBP, Oracle SCM, or Kinaxis.
  • Leadership experience on at least two full-lifecycle decision intelligence, advanced analytics, or supply chain technology implementations, including strategy, requirements, process design, build, testing, deployment, adoption, and post-go-live support; at least one implementation must have been completed within the last three years.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams, multiple workstreams, executive governance, delivery risk, project financials, and third-party or alliance relationships.
  • Proven business development experience, including opportunity shaping, proposal leadership, scope and pricing development, and executive presentations.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment and to drive decisions amid ambiguity.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: Consumer Products, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Technology, or Telecommunications.
  • Ability to work in person at an EY office and/or client location up to 50% of the time, based on client and project needs.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
