Job Description

At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

Service Delivery Analyst

The opportunity

As our Forensics Service Delivery Analyst, you'll be part of a team in our Service Delivery Centre (SDC) within the hub that works with EY project teams across Australia to support large-scale client engagements.

Supporting our Forensic and Integrity Services (FIS) team, you will assist with documentation review for transactions that form part of a cost claim. Demonstrating excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for process, you will consider invoices, purchase orders, delivery dockets, timesheets and similar information to evidence the costs claimed.

This is your opportunity to gain exposure to multiple facets of the business while building a strong foundation in service delivery.

This role is based Wadawurrung – Ballarat. Roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Considering claim costs to invoices to confirm the GST exclusive value.
  • Performing comparisons across invoice support to the invoices to ensure these align.
  • Raising issues or concerns with documentation if there are omissions or errors in clear written comments.
  • Engaging in team discussions and, on occasion, participating in workshops with the client and broader project assessment team.

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes, review records, and assess compliance against requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), SharePoint, and documentation management, with confidence in analysing financial data and large data sets.
  • Clear communication skills and a professional approach when engaging with service providers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong time management and coordination skills, able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Experience in compliance, auditing, or government-funded programs (desirable but not essential), coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.
