Job Summary
Raytheon Emirates is seeking a motivated Procurement Intern to support our Supply Chain team in Abu Dhabi.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and supply chain activities.
This role will support purchasing activities, RFQs, tenders, supplier communications, and market research while ensuring compliance with company policies.
What You Will Do
- Support procurement activities, including reviewing requirements, preparing RFQs/tenders, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Conduct market research, source suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Assist with supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with quality and procurement requirements.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, deadlines, and procurement activities while maintaining accurate reports and records.
- Support compliance with Raytheon procurement policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and import/export requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 4.0/5.0.
- Official university letter must be submitted with the CV.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, tendering/RFQ processes, and supply chain management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to cost, quality, and delivery.
- Ability to prepare reports, evaluate supplier proposals, and maintain procurement records.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a diverse environment.
