Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAN Storage & Cisco SAN L2 Administrator to provide advanced support, troubleshooting, performance management for enterprise storage and SAN environments.

Location- BKC, Mumbai (onsite) | 24/7 shift

Experience:5+ Years | Level L2

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Hitachi Vantara enterprise storage environments.
• Administer Hitachi VSP, VSP 5000, and VSP E storage platforms.
• Manage storage provisioning, LUNs, pools, RAID, host groups, masking, and capacity.
• Configure and troubleshoot Hitachi replication technologies, including TrueCopy, Universal Replicator (UR), Global-Active Device (GAD), and ShadowImage.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco MDS SAN switches, including VSANs, zoning, ISLs, port configuration, and Fibre Channel (FC) connectivity.
• Troubleshoot complex SAN, storage, path, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Analyze storage performance metrics, including latency, IOPS, throughput, and capacity trends.
• Lead P1/P2 incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and vendor escalations.
• Support storage migrations, technology refresh initiatives, disaster recovery (DR) exercises, and failover/failback activities.
• Collaborate with Server, VMware, Database, Backup, Network, and Application teams.
• Participate in 24×7 shift operations and on-call/escalation support.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Hitachi Vantara Storage.
• Strong Cisco MDS SAN administration and troubleshooting expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of Fibre Channel (FC), WWPN/WWNN, zoning, VSANs, LUN masking, and multipathing.
• Experience with Hitachi TrueCopy, Universal Replicator (UR), and Global-Active Device (GAD).

Good to Have

• VMware storage integration.
• Brocade SAN exposure.
• Storage migration experience.
• ITIL Change and Problem Management knowledge.
• Scripting and automation experience.
