The Role 

The Strategy & Value Insights Lead is responsible for enabling business leaders understand markets performance along with key drivers with actionable and impactful insights. This professional needs to be able to examine data, derive patterns, infer insights in the lens of business context and generate easy to understand business narratives. 

The Power BI & Executive Insights Lead will design, develop and maintain executive reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical products for USLI leadership. The role combines Power BI development, data modelling and visualization with business analytics to transform Markets and performance data into clear, actionable executive insights. The successful candidate will understand the EY reporting environment and collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners and Global Analytics teams to deliver trusted, scalable and decision-ready reporting.

Key responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, test and maintain Power BI dashboards, executive scorecards and recurring leadership reports.
• Create scalable reporting frameworks, reusable data models and standardized visualization components.
• Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness, consistency and usability.
• Apply effective information design and data storytelling principles to produce executive-ready outputs.
• Document data sources, logic, calculations, refresh processes and user guidance.
• Build efficiencies, automation and standardization of data workflows
• Develop and maintain collaboration tools and portals to facilitate seamless and efficient operations.
• Provide baselines, targets and measure progress to goals

Executive Insights & Analytics

• Analyze Markets, revenue, sales, pipeline, pursuits, growth and operational performance data.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, exceptions and key performance drivers.
• Translate complex analysis into concise business narratives, visuals and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
• Support performance diagnostics, planning, forecasting and leadership review cycles.
• Combine business context with data findings to develop actionable, easy-to-consume insights.

Data Management, Governance & Innovation

• Partner with data owners and stakeholders to validate data quality, definitions and reporting logic.
• Support KPI standardization, reporting governance, access controls and consistency across executive deliverables.
• Investigate data issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Leverage EY Global Analytics tools, Power Platform capabilities and appropriate AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting and insight generation.
• Identify opportunities for self-service analytics, workflow efficiency and continuous improvement.

Skills and attributes for success

• Advanced Power BI development skills, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling, visualization and dashboard performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect data to business context.
• Good knowledge of EY reporting, Markets data and Global Analytics tools.
• Understanding of revenue, sales, pipeline, pursuits, growth and performance metrics.
• Executive data storytelling, presentation and business writing capability.
• Strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to MS365 Power Platform, Co-pilot or related analytics technologies is beneficial.

To qualify for the role, you must have 

• 12+ years of work experience
• Exposure to Big 4 or leading consulting firms is a plus
• Relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, executive reporting, data visualization or dashboard development at a level appropriate for a Supervising Associate role.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Power BI solutions and leadership-facing reporting products.
• Experience with EY reporting, Markets data, Global Analytics or a comparable professional services reporting environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in analytics, information systems, business, statistics, engineering or a related discipline.
