Network Architecture & Engineering is responsible for designing, engineering, and evolving Maersk’s global network and perimeter services. As a Network Engineer,youwillcontributetothedeliveryofscalable,secure,reliable,andsupportablenetworksolutionsacrossoffices,warehouses,terminals,depots,andotheroperationallocationsworldwide.
You will play a key role in implementing enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN services while supporting migrations, service improvements, engineering standards, andnetworkautomationinitiatives.Workingalongsideseniorengineersandarchitects,youwillhelpdeliverconsistentconnectivityservicesthatenablebusinessoperationsacrossacomplexglobalenvironment.
KeyResponsibilities
Contributetothedesign,implementation,andcontinuousimprovementofenterpriseLAN,WLAN,WAN,andSD-WANsolutionsalignedwithapprovedarchitecturesandstandards.
Produceandmaintaintechnicaldocumentationincludinghigh-levelandlow-leveldesigns,implementationplans,testplans,rollbackprocedures,andoperationalrunbooks.
Configure,deploy,troubleshoot,andoptimiseCiscoSD-WAN,CiscoMerakiSD-WAN,andFortinetSecureSD-WANsolutionsacrossmultiplenetworkunderlays.
Supportcampusnetworkingandwirelessdeployments,includingrouting,switching,segmentation,authentication,performanceoptimisation,andwirelessroaming.
Developreusableconfigurationtemplates,validationprocesses,anddeploymentstandardstoimproveconsistencyandreduceimplementationrisk.
ContributetoautomationinitiativesusingPython,Ansible,APIs,model-driveninterfaces,andGit-basedworkflows.
Investigateincidentsandperformanceissuesusingtelemetry,monitoringplatforms,packetcaptures,logs,anddiagnosticswhilesupportingroot-causeanalysisandoperationalhandoveractivities.

Hands-on experience with technologies suchasCiscoCatalystSD-WAN,CiscoMeraki,FortinetSecureSD-WAN,Cisco,HPEArubaNetworking,JuniperMist,ExtremeNetworks,orequivalententerprisenetworkingplatforms.
Working knowledge of network security andautomation,includingfirewalls,networksegmentation,802.1X,ZeroTrustprinciples,Python,Ansible,RESTAPIs,Git-basedworkflows,andInfrastructure-as-Codeconcepts.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills,supportedbyrelevantprofessionalcertificationssuchasCCNPEnterprise,CiscoDevNet,FortinetCertifiedProfessional,JNCIPEnterprise,Arubaprofessionalcertifications,orequivalent.
