Roles & Responsibilities
•Manage and Maintain IBM AIX servers including OS management, Firmware updates and AIX Migrations.
•Perform AIX patching, HMC patching, and NIM setup and Operations.
•Administer Linux servers including patch management, performance tuning, and System upgrades.
•Ensure Compliance with security benchmark.
•Manage Satellite servers for patching and system management.
•Provide expert level support for Linux/AIX system security including access control, audit logging and vulnerability mitigation.
•Manage and troubleshoot HP Physical server infrastructure.
•Good understanding on virtualization technologies.
•Support day to day issues like server hung, unexpected reboot and performance issues for DB hosts.
•Maintain System documentations and collaborate with cross functional teams.
•Familiarity of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.
•Good understanding of Automation tools like Ansible and deep scripting knowledge for configuration management, deployment and Compliance.
•Basic understanding of Dynatrace monitoring tool.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
•Must be able to clearly interact with customers, understand the customer’s requirement.
•Interact with team leaders and other team members to improve support quality.
Salary Range: $90,000 -$100,000 year
