Job Description:

The Senior Accounting Associate's primary role is to provide various accounting and research support for the Payment Center of Excellence team.  

Project Hire Assignment: This position is a temporary Project Hire assignment expected to last approximately twelve (12) months. Employment is intended to support a specific business need for a limited duration and there is no guarantee of extension, conversion, or placement into a regular full-time position at the conclusion of the assignment.

This role is responsible for the following:

Accounting

• Month end journal entries and account reconciliations
• Daily monitoring for suspended transactions
• Transaction search and lookup
• PWC audit requests

Research and Support

• Handling of ad hoc payments via an internal payment platform
• Daily research and email response to Guest Service emails regarding Guests who have had issues with their purchase (note that this is internal facing, not Guest facing). 
• Day to day ad hoc transaction research

Experience Required:

• 1+ years work experience in accounting or related field
• Excellent accounting skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Demonstrated excellence in MS Excel
• Familiarity with audits
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze data and correlate data attributes
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
   

Education:

• Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Business or Accounting preferred

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.12 to $27.04 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
