Our physical location partly accounts for the College's longstanding ties with the corporate and professional sectors to which it has provided training and consultancy services. The College is within a short walking distance of key legal institutions, notably the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court, Inns of Court, leading law firms, and barrister chambers. Students at KCB have the opportunity to gain cross-cultural experiences due to the cosmopolitan nature of London life and the international nature of the students at KCB. Students from various countries from all the continents of the world and the UK study at Kensington College of Business on various courses. The atmosphere at the Campus is vibrant and truly multicultural. International events and parties are regularly organized at KCB. A range of events takes place such as Tango and Salsa Dance Classes at KCB's Campus in the evenings. KCB has more than 30 years of experience in delivering Undergraduate level and Postgraduate level courses of prominent British Universities such as Wales, Glamorgan, Hertfordshire, Portsmouth, Thames Valley, and others. The faculty members at KCB are highly competent with extensive academic and industrial experience. Guest speakers who are top consultants and practitioners at leading companies are invited to deliver guest lectures and speeches at KCB for the benefit of students. This allows students at KCB to gain valuable insights into past and contemporary business practices. KCB prides itself on ensuring that a personal approach is taken towards teaching and learning. The Principal of KCB personally takes an interest in ensuring that the lecturers give all of KCB's student's attention. Regular feedback is provided to students on their progress from assessment requirements. KCB has a small onsite Library. It also has an online library that contains the textbooks for the main subjects studied at KCB, together with journals through the EBSCO site. Also, KCB provides details of other libraries such as the British Library, which students can use for reference. There are three fully-equipped computer labs with high-speed internet access via the Server of the University of London. Access to online resources, including the online library of the University of Wales, which is one of the most comprehensive in the UK, is available to KCB students. There is a well-sourced Referencing Library within KCB's Campus. It provides access to all of the core textbooks and additional reading materials for all of the Modules of the different courses taught at KCB. Canteen facilities offering Hot and Cold Food with subsidized prices are available within the Campus (allowing students to save on costs of eating out in Central London). KCB is a not-for-profit organization established in 1982, making it one of the oldest independent Degree / HE course providers in the UK. The College has been approved with the highest ranking possible by the UK Government's Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. The QAA review system focuses on the student experience, which includes the quality of teaching. The College is fortunate to have highly qualified teaching staff, most of whom have had significant experience as professional practitioners. This is a crucial strength highlighted by the approval process of our university partners. Several of the staff are also or have been examiners at other universities. In addition to degree course provision with university partners, the College's Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas have long been accepted by UK universities for advanced entry to their programs. KCB is a full member of key higher education quality oversight bodies such as the Association of University Administrators (AUA), the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA), and the UK National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC), and Higher Education Academy (HEA). KCB has the distinction of being one of the earliest independent sector Colleges to be recognized by the UK Government as a degree teaching institution. Today KCB students can obtain funding for their courses from the Government for their degree and HNC/HND courses if they fulfill the qualifying criteria. Listed Bodies Act by Act of Parliament in 1998 was then called the Department for Education & Science with approval continuing for over 14 years shown by the current listing on the DBIS website. KCB was Approved by the UK Quality Assurance Agency [QAA], the Government appointed institution responsible for standards and quality in UK Degree/University courses. The Quality Assurance Agency delivered the highest judgment of "confidence" following recent Educational reviews of the College.
