St. John Paul II Catholic High School is a college preparatory school for grades 9-12, located in Huntsville, Alabama, and serving North Alabama. Founded in 1996 as Catholic High School, St. John Paul II Catholic High School is sponsored by the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama. The school holds accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and membership in the National Catholic Education Association.

Our educational services are comprised of a stellar academic curriculum, a Christ-centered spiritual formation platform, a growing athletic program, and a dynamic visual and performing arts course of studies. These formational elements offer an environment to shape young men and women who will competently storm the world of academics, science, law, human services, medicine, technology, humanities, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

In a caring, supportive atmosphere, our JPII outstanding college-preparatory curriculum fosters intellectual curiosity and value formation. For more than 22 years, JPII has been committed to spiritual growth, academic excellence, the cultivation of fine arts, and athletic skills. These four areas represent our school's four core Pillars. St. John Paul II Catholic High School offers an accessible and affordable quality college-preparatory academic program in a Catholic-centered environment. The education provided is rigorous, relevant, and fosters lifelong learning, skills, and behaviors necessary for students to become responsible and productive citizens in a global society. In keeping with our overall philosophy within the school and the broader community, St. John Paul II Catholic High School focuses on the following areas:
