MIS is proud of its accomplishments during the short intense time of growth. With a start of kindergarten section along with elementary level, we have now grown into a full school of exceptional academic planning. We have handpicked our teachers and are proud of their accomplishments in contributing to excelling in the status of MIS nationally.

Each classroom is full of students and teachers who share their innovative ideas and plan to create a better future. Students and staff continue to explore technological advantages. Therefore, MIS applied E-Learning. Our goal is to prepare our students for the world by providing them with global exposure such as international curriculums along with Common Core State Standards which has a reflection on our students, each year they get ready to face more challenges.

Al Moktashef International School (MIS) was established in 2009 as a Kindergarten school in the district of Al Shatee, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, designed to accommodate 100 students. MIS began with a very small amount of teachers and students in an environment that we prefer to call "Home". During these 3 years, we have expanded to include grade levels, a large number of teachers, and about 300 students. The strong determination of the school's administration is to provide the highest quality of educational services. In addition, to the high expertise, the staff that made us excels in our quality. Our Objectives are:

Al Moktashef International School is an American International School welcoming students from KG1 up to Grade 6. The primary educational goal of MIS school is to prepare students for professional success in the global community. We believe that students must be culturally literate and competent problem-solvers. Our high school curriculum emphasizes the development of critical thinking skills and intercultural learning within an academic framework. We also recognize the benefits of non-formal learning within an academic framework. We also recognize the benefits of non-formal learning that students gain from their daily interactions.

The school values individualized learning. Our teacher-to-student ratio ranges from 1:6 to 1:25 small classes create an environment for personal interaction between students and teachers and provides the opportunity for students to explore topics of personal interest. Teachers can focus on the individual instructional needs of their students, particularly on the needs to develop their English abilities.
