Beaconhouse Private School opened in January 2007 and has developed into a premier institution in Oman. The school is an accredited partner of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and offers the IGCSE program. The school has been a recipient of the ‘Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award’ for four consecutive years.

The school is under the supervision of the Ministry of Education of Oman and is considered a Private Omani Bilingual school. It has a student population of around 580 and offers co-education classes from Kindergarten to 10th Grade. The student body is a diverse mix of local Omani nationals, Asian and European expatriates.

The school is part of the Beaconhouse Group, which was founded in 1975 and is one of the largest private school systems in the world, with a presence in eight countries worldwide. The group prides itself on its 44-year heritage in delivering affordable, quality education at international standards.
