St Paul's Lutheran Primary School is a safe and secure place, offering warm, caring relationships and a safe environment for all. We respect individual gifts and differences. We recognize the strong role parents play in their child's education and work with them in providing for the specific needs of their children. At St Paul's we encourage community, where each individual is valued and lasting friendships are often forged between students and staff.

We want our school community to reflect the values of a Lutheran school including love, justice, compassion, forgiveness, service, courage, humility, hope, quality, and appreciation. A variety of programs including music, art, and speech allow children to learn through experience and develop their talents and abilities, recognize the talents and abilities in others and use them in Christian service. We pride ourselves on creating a challenging and enjoyable learning environment with an emphasis on self-motivation.

St Paul’s is a small school offering big opportunities and high-quality education, with a history of academic excellence. We recognize that children learn at different rates and in different ways. Therefore, we provide learning experiences that are child-centered, differentiated, relevant, and meaningful.

St Paul's is also a place of spirituality, where students come to know Jesus through life at school. It is our goal each day for your child to experience this and find our school as a place of faith, friendship, joy, discovery, challenge, and learning. St Paul’s cares for students and provides a safe, and nurturing environment.

The dedicated and committed staff of St Paul’s are aware of the special privilege they share with you in the education of your child. We work closely in partnership with you to assist your child to develop his or her full potential. Communication between school and home is a key priority for our staff members.

As a Christian school, we are nurturing within our students an inner compass of valuing and thinking in a way that brings about holistic growth. As our students move from Kindergarten to Year 6 and beyond, they go with the knowledge that Jesus is their friend, that positive and caring relationships matter, and are enduring and nothing is more important than being true to themselves. We aim to grow children into discerning, faith-filled, responsible, confident, and intelligent individuals who care deeply about the world in which we live. Developing a culture of understanding that is true to our Christian identity is at the forefront of all that we undertake.

A great school stretches far beyond being just about academic achievement. We live in a community that demands so much more from us. We encourage the children to use the wisdom they gain at school to be critical and creative thinkers. They will be collaborating and imagining new ways of doing things for employment opportunities that don’t yet exist and will need the problem-solving skills to get there. Our students are taught to take risks, make mistakes, and be passionate - there are no limits. The students are taught that everybody’s ability can grow and when they believe this, their achievement improves significantly

With Christ at our core, as our strength and our inspiration, and with children as our focus, we strive to provide quality education and develop skills for lifelong education. St Paul's Lutheran Primary School has as core values:

  • Christ-centered learning instills children with an inquisitiveness for lifelong learning.
  • The Christian community supports students and families through prayer and action and impacts our school through God's grace and compassion.
  • Opportunities for parents, students, and staff to serve others in the school and the broader community as a means of using God's gifts and talents.

Responsible stewardship of our well-resourced and equipped school and facilities.
