Malvern Preparatory School is an Augustinian School, Catholic and Independent for boys in grades 6 through 12, located in the Greater Philadelphia suburb of Malvern, Pa. Malvern is dedicated to the pursuit of Truth through academic excellence and the growth of each of its students so that he is prepared fully for college and a life of integrity and courageous leadership. Seeking oneness of mind and heart in the journey toward God, Malvern strives to build a diverse community in which a caring faculty works with parents and students to instill in everyone a personal responsibility for the common good. Inspired by Christ, the Malvern Tradition invites each individual to grow and give in a family distinguished by the respect, challenge, service, and exceptional love. Our beliefs:

• St. Augustine is not just our founding father, but an active influence within our community.
• Every course a student takes at Malvern Prep should allow him to get to know more about himself.
• Outstanding coursework includes a balance of both content and skills.
• Hard work, not busy work. Rigor is a function of how much we ask a student to think, not how much we ask him to complete.
• Feedback is a powerful tool in enhancing the learning experience for all community members.

We believe boys learn better in an environment where each student can be empathetic to one another where boys can work on their sense of self and where boys can just be boys among their brothers. Independent or private schools provide more support, more educational opportunities, and individual attention for each student to grow into the person they are meant to be.

As a Catholic, Augustinian educational institution for young men, Malvern Prep endeavors to integrate St. Augustine's values of Truth, Unity, and Love into all that we do. Like St. Augustine, we believe that God is the Father of all creation. This is why Malvern Prep celebrates diversity in the Church and the world. As one part of this effort, we are committed to increasing the diversity of our faculty, staff, and student body. As another part of this effort, we are committed to an interdisciplinary, multicultural curriculum.
