Our school is located on John Dillon Street in Dublin 8 and it is a school for boys from 2nd to 6th class. We are a Catholic school that is genuinely child-centered with an ethos that fosters trust, mutual respect, and self-directed learning. Empathy, creativity, leadership, and teamwork permeate our school day based on the values of trust, responsibility, kindness, and honesty.
We believe that learning should be active and creative. We encourage our students to embrace challenges and celebrate success. We have clear values and aim to develop well-rounded independent children, preparing them for future careers by providing positive learning experiences.
We believe in the pedagogy of social justice and embody an empathy-based methodology curriculum and believe that children should be empowered to live for a 'common good. To facilitate this we believe in a holistic curriculum for the wellbeing of our students within their community.
There is a strong community feel in our school with wonderful parents, pupils, and educators. We encourage students to be confident and articulate communicators, to think for themselves as global citizens with developing awareness of the broad social and ecological issues. We empower our students as changemakers with the capacity to make a positive difference in their school, community, and world.
Education aims to enable students to understand the world around them and the talents within them so that they can become fulfilled individuals and active, compassionate citizens".
We want our school to transform the lives of our children, inspiring them to make a positive contribution to society. We insist on excellence and continually strive to inspire a culture of curiosity through an empowering and innovative curriculum. We aim as a school to provide a safe and welcoming environment that fosters inclusion and diversity.
