At West Lodge, we have developed a strong learning culture and all members of the community are continually striving to become the very best we can be. Our school is an exciting place to work and learn. We provide a lively, creative curriculum that challenges, inspires, and motivates our pupils and enables them to participate in a range of high-quality learning opportunities.

It is a place where children become happy and positive young citizens. Learning to develop a strong sense of self and feel proud of who they are, where they come from, and who they want to be.

Recently, the school has been undergoing a small expansion. A new wing has been built – Kaleidoscope – which will eventually provide 18 places for pupils on the autistic spectrum, allowing children with autism to experience specialist teaching and facilities within a mainstream setting. We are now at full capacity in Kaleidoscope with 18 places filled.

Our West Lodge Core Values were created after input from the West Lodge School Council all staff groups and governors. This ‘Diamond 9’ forms the core values that embody the ethos of West Lodge.
