St Stephen’s is a successful school in the London Borough of Bexley. It has been recognized as an outstanding school by Ofsted and the Diocese of Southwark. We are very fortunate to have a very dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants, and other staff who strive to make certain that every child reaches their full potential academically, morally, spiritually, and physically. We endeavor to ensure every child leaves St Stephen’s as a successful, confident and responsible individual, equipped with all the skills needed to continue on their future learning journey.
We work in partnership with parents and carers and value the support and contribution they make to school life. The school also enjoys an excellent partnership with St Stephen’s Parish and the wider community. We can provide a caring and effective learning environment, where expectations and standards are high.
Our aim is that all children have access to a broad, balanced, and challenging curriculum and to live our daily lives by the school's Mission Statement. This underpins everything that goes on at St Stephen’s.
At St. Stephen’s, as members of God’s family, we help and support each other as we learn, play, and grow whatever our background. Everyone in our school, parish, and home community is important and respected and allowed to develop their faith and live out the Gospel values.
Through Jesus’ teachings and example of love, we understand the importance of helping others, supporting charities in our local and global community.
Our school is a caring community where truth, forgiveness, and justice are promoted and are at the heart of our learning and throughout our daily lives. We know that each one of us is made in God’s image we encourage everyone to develop and share the talents that He has given to each of us.
