The children of St. Paul’s are pleasant, cheerful, and well behaved they have zest and character indeed are a credit to themselves and their families. They are enthusiastic, keen to learn and it is our job, to see that their hopes and aspirations are fulfilled. We will look to provide the very best foundation for the growth and development of your children.
The progress of every child is immensely important to us all, and we hope that our work will enable them to develop to their fullest potential.
In St. Paul’s we look to create and establish the sort of environment in which pupils of all ages can feel content and comfortable. In the same way, we seek to forge excellent relationships with parents so that the concept of partnership is seen as the way forward at all times.
The general aims of the school are to enlarge a child’s knowledge, experience, and understanding, and thus his or her awareness of moral values and capacity for enjoyment. To enable a child to be an active participant in society and a responsible contributor to it capable of achieving as much independence as possible. To work alongside the Parishes of St. Paul’s and St. Timothy’s to provide the foundation for a Catholic, way of life in an environment of caring relationships built upon Gospel values.
At St. Paul’s we are committed to fostering a love of reading within our children, developing within them a desire to read which will remain with them throughout their lives. We encourage all children within the school to pursue books that interest them, whatever form that may take.
Following the success of the Liverpool Reading Quality Mark, we are delighted to announce that we have been accepted onto an exciting project called the Liverpool Counts Quality Mark.
The project aims to promote and foster an awareness of ‘Numeracy For Life’. Our children will be encouraged to develop positive attitudes to Maths, have the opportunity to see Maths in the real world, will be given opportunities to develop their basic skills, and will have the chance to see Maths in a whole new light. The award involves lots of exciting maths work and events for the children throughout the year.
