At Sandhurst Junior School we believe in excellent progress for all and excellent experiences for all, in a safe and caring environment. We aim to provide a friendly and stimulating environment in which children can develop all of their skills and abilities to the highest standard. We intend to develop self-discipline and awareness of socially acceptable behavior. Each child is treated as an individual and every effort is made to suit their needs. Help will be given to any child with specific difficulties.

At Sandhurst, we expect the very highest standard of behavior from all of the children. We have a clear behavior policy which is signed by pupils and Parents/Guardians. All the adults in school are committed to valuing qualities of positive behavior in children and will recognize, encourage and develop them at all times. One approach that we use in dealing with unacceptable behavior is that of Restorative Justice when all parties are involving in discussion and resolution.
