Lyndon Green Infant School is a popular inclusive school with a special unit for children with Cognition and Learning Difficulties. The partnership is a keyword here at Lyndon Green, and all those associated with the school, staff, governors, parents, and children, celebrate achievement in all its forms, value highly the contribution made by children with special needs, and enjoy working together. We share a campus with our partner junior school, and there are regular cooperation and consultation between the two schools to ensure continuity and progression for our pupils. Strong links exist between our school and Garretts Green Nursery School, and we also have close links with Brays Special School for children with physical disabilities, situated immediately opposite our main entrance. We also enjoy the mutual benefits of working with other schools, as part of a teaching school alliance.

Lyndon Green Infant School, a school where the children are at the heart of all we do, and where each child is encouraged to achieve success and develop a love of learning that we hope will continue throughout the rest of their school career and on into adult life. But success doesn’t happen by magic. All school staff works together with the pupils, their parents, our governors, pre-schools and feeder schools, members of the local community, and various LA agencies.

We have a well-planned curriculum that focuses on structured development of the basic skills within a broad and balanced thematic program with activities that can be tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, both the least and most able, with lots of enrichment activities to make learning meaningful and enjoyable, ensuring that the children are keen to come back for more!
