Christ Church is a highly inclusive, successful, and thriving primary school. Our last Ofsted inspection (section 8), in January 2017, confirmed that we were still a ‘good school, with many elements of 'outstanding' practice. We are particularly proud of our children’s behavior and attitudes which were recognized as outstanding. Our pupils demonstrate respect and care for each other and everyone around them.
Christ Church is a one-form entry primary school with approximately 230 pupils between the ages of 3 and 11. There are currently 26 full-time places for children aged 3 to 4 years old in our nursery and no more than 30 children in each class from Reception to Year 6.
The school has the following awards: the Camden Award for Inclusion, Investors in People, Healthy Schools Bronze and Silver, the Sports Mark, Sustainable Travel, and FMSIS. We are also currently working towards the Eco-School Bronze Award, ArtsMark, and the Rights Respecting Schools Recognition of Commitment. At Christ Church we are very proud of our attendance figures, averaging at around 96%, which is higher than national expectation. We know that there is a clear link between good attendance and good learning and so we have very robust systems for ensuring that our attendance remains high. We are a uniformed school and we believe it promotes a sense of pride, community, belonging, and well-being.

Christ Church is a small, caring school that is committed to a broad, balanced curriculum and a continual raising of standards. We aim to contribute to the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental, and physical needs of every individual.
We are a Church of England school with a strong commitment to the teaching of Christianity, whilst also supporting a multi-faith approach to the curriculum. We recognize, value, and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that exists in our school.
The Christian ethos of the school is reflected in our positive, disciplined, and calm atmosphere. We believe that effective learning takes place when children work in a purposeful and stimulating environment that supports a wide range of learning styles. Mutual respect between adults and children promotes excellent behavior and well-developed social skills. With this approach, we seek to achieve high academic standards.
We aim to cater to each individual, taking particular account of any specific needs or abilities. We endeavor to ensure that all our children fulfill their potential and, within this context, we emphasize health and safety, enjoyment and achievement, and the beginnings of responsibility for themselves and others. These skills will be carried forward to the next phase of education and throughout life.
The school aims to provide a positive, disciplined, and purposeful environment within a Christian context. We aim to teach children to be caring, to exhibit good behavior and appropriate social skills, and to begin to take responsibility for themselves and others.
The school aims to teach a balanced curriculum and to ensure that each child fulfills his or her potential. We aim to provide teaching and learning of a high standard. We believe that this is achieved when pupils are highly motivated, enjoy coming to school, and are appropriately challenged.
