Camden School for Girls provides an excellent education for all its students. At the heart of our success is our determination to make learning enjoyable, interesting, and stimulating. We are ambitious for every young person in our school, and our commitment to their success is combined with very strong pastoral work to make sure that students feel happy, safe, and supported at all times.
We enable our students to find their voices and develop their own opinions by encouraging a broad understanding of the world, a social conscience, and a considerate approach to other people. Every student is valued, and we encourage all students to value other people as well. We aim to nurture caring, confident, responsible, and mature young adults who are ready to go on to the next stage of their education.
We offer a wide-ranging academic and vocational curriculum in the main school and A levels in the Sixth Form. Our teachers are highly qualified specialists who make learning enjoyable and accessible. They are enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who make sure that every student achieves her or his full potential.
Camden School for Girls has a strong record of academic success which is reflected in its outstanding GCSE and A level results. Both achievement and progress (the improvement students make in their learning from their starting points) are well above the national average.
Camden School for Girls has been graded outstanding in every category in every Ofsted inspection it has received. In 2013 Camden School for Girls was named one of the top 100 best performing schools in the country by Schools Minister David Laws in recognition of our exceptional examination results.
Our students are talented resourceful, confident, and creative individuals. Through their Sixth Form experience, we endeavor to ensure that they leave qualified, stimulated, and well-prepared for the challenges of life.
Our school has a reputation for academic excellence balanced with a rich program of extracurricular activities delivered in a welcoming environment. We respect our students and treat them as individuals. We try to involve everyone in taking an active part in the community thereby enriching the Sixth Form experience.
The last OFSTED report stated: 'What makes this school outstanding are exceptional leadership, and strong teaching and learning enhanced by a top-class curriculum and caring ethos. However, students themselves are also key contributors because of their attitudes, hard work, and determination to excel"

Every Monday morning we hold a Sixth Form Assembly all students are expected to attend unless they have an out-of-grid subject lesson.
We hold stimulating debates and encourage our students to take on current and divisive issues.
Speakers are invited from all kinds of professions and backgrounds to come in and talk to our students. We have been very fortunate to have had in the past many interesting, thought-provoking, and sometimes controversial talks.
