Main Library has been in operation since 1969, the same year in which University (at that time Teacher Higher School) was established. Since 2004 Main Library has been housed at 9 Popiełuszki Street, in a modern building of over 6 000 square meters. The building is designed to meet the needs of users with various disabilities (e.g. blindness, low vision, physical disabilities).
Apart from Main Library, the informational system comprises the Library of the Faculty of Science and the Library of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The latter two operate according to reading room rules.
The main goals of the Career Bureau are to offer individual guidance in professional self-development and to assist students and graduates in active search of employment and internship opportunities. In particular, it helps to plan students’ career paths by organizing practical workshops.
