Kyiv campus is a single complex that stands on 17 ha, which includes six academic buildings, a library, six dormitories, two sports facilities, a modern football stadium, two canteens, seven cafeterias, two concert-halls.
Eighteen regional subdivisions: 6 educational institutes, nine colleges, and three high commercial specialized schools located in Vinnytsa, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Kolomiya, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Uzhgorod, Odesa, etc.
The Certified Quality Management System has been functioning efficiently at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics by the international ISO 9001:2008 standard since 2009.
The sphere of science at the University is an essential component of its innovative activity. Scientific research directions are defined according to the nation-wide priorities of science and education development concerning the University's activity profile. Most of them are aimed at: solving the problems of the development of merchandise turnover, trade, consumer market development management forming the foreign economic policy of Ukraine development of a competitive environment in the conditions of innovative economic model improving the methodology of the innovation investment management under conditions of sustainable economic development, the efficiency of the budget system functioning developing the hotel and tourism business market in Ukraine, quality assurance and product safety.
There are 6 Specialized Academic Councils in KNUTE that can consider and conduct the thesis defense for the academic degrees – Ph.D. (Economics, Finance, Engineering, and Psychology) and Doctor of Sciences (Economics, Finance, Engineering).
KNUTE structure also includes Institute of Higher Qualification European Education Center Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons Center of Technology Transfer Scientific-and-Technical Center for Certification of Products, Services and Quality Systems Center of Distance Education Center of Educational and Psychological Research Center of Occupational Guidance Center of Training for Standardized External Testing Center for Career Development Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring of Knowledge, etc.
KNUTE teaches English/French/German – as a first foreign language, and Polish/Spanish/ Modern Greek/Latin – as a second foreign language. Free of charge program of studying Japanese has been functioning for more than ten years in KNUTE.
KNUTE has created favorable conditions for studying, comfortable stay, and accommodation for students with special needs. The educational process is provided in 6 university buildings, including 26 specialized laboratories, 48 computer labs, 125 lecture halls, and 2040 computers.
The Library fund counts over 1,4 million printed sources from various branches of science. There are six reading-halls, seven lending libraries, a multimedia library, foreign literature hall, cards and electronic catalogs hall, a new literature hall, and such unique sectors as a methodological sector of KNUTE, thesis, and thesis abstracts sector for library users.
Institute of Higher Qualification is a structural subdivision of KNUTE, which has been implementing essential activity directions for the business sphere for more than 15 years. IHQ successfully competes in the segment of postgraduate and business education.
The European Education Center activity is aimed at the realization of academic mobility principles and the creation of a possibility for students to get a double degree diploma. EEC's highly qualified lecturers prepare second-and third-year students of KNUTE to pass DELF/DALF, IELTS, TOEFL levels B1, B2.
The University is actively involved in the development and implementation of international projects, both within the framework of the European Union programs and within the framework of cooperation with partner universities, organizations, and state bodies of France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, China, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and others.
The Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons provides teaching the Ukrainian language (optionally — Russian) and basic disciplines for foreign citizens to the level demanded to continue studies at KNUTE and other Ukrainian universities.
Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics traditionally is among the leaders of the Ukrainian HEI's. The polling of 2015 proves the high prestige and stability of KNUTE again: University took the 11th place among the 30 best universities of Ukraine. According to the university transparency league table, it is in TOP-5 of the league table of HEIs that trains the highest number of top-managers and in TOP-10.
