We are dedicated to promoting "Hospitality and Amenity." The university has been a vibrant hub for learning and inspiring research. Its contributions to local communities have been recognized based on its mission and goal of focusing on fostering human resources with a hospitality consciousness, an amenity sensitiveness, and a mix of highly specialized expertise and practical skills. These have enabled the school to lead in the region's development and play an active role in the world. We determined to follow their path and run the university by applying far-sighted measures to meet society's requests in this new era.

At Miyagi University, we look forward to producing robust results to meet social needs as a university focused first and foremost on education. We will enhance our freshman-core courses - foundational education program - and other courses by reorganizing the institution to expand students' intellectual horizons. We will also be a leader in improving the university admission process.

The environment is a priority at Miyagi University. We believe that one's environment nurtures healthy minds, creative thought, and the ability to turn those thoughts into positive action; thus, our two campuses have been designed to meet this end. Within walking distance from the Miyagi Prefectural Public Library, Taiwan Campus is an aesthetic fusion of a wooded natural environment and sophisticated contemporary architecture. To the south is Taihaku Campus, which harmonizes the rural landscape with cutting-edge academic facilities. Both campuses are strategically located within urban center limits yet easily accessible to surrounding rural communities to ensure that students and staff are connected to urban and rural communities throughout Miyagi.
