Founded in 1925, ESTACA is an ISAE Group member, 1st world cluster in aerospace training and research.
ESTACA is highly specialized in the fields of aeronautics, automotive, space, and guided transport industries. The training courses continuously evolve to meet companies' requirements and adapt to the emergence of new technologies or disciplines.
ESTACA's graduates undertake the design, development, and production of transport systems and components.
Since its foundation in 1925, ESTACA has grown and won a top place within the French engineering schools. The School stayed true to its initial mission to transform the youth's passion for transport into a profession. ESTACA never stopped and will never stop to adapt and develop. Driven by its passion for the engineer careers, the School applied the dynamism which the transport sector experienced, especially in its domains of majors: aeronautics, automotive followed by railway and aerospace. Mobility is the landmark of the 21st century and is changing the world. ESTACA will be present to each of these significant scientific and technical progress. It has guided this historic turning point by each of its evolutions, which will continue to transform societies and understanding up to our everyday life.
Located west of Paris, 10 minutes from the Château de Versailles and 30 min. from the Eiffel Tower, the ESTACA-Paris Saclay engineering school offers a beautiful environment for international programs. This new Campus, opened in 2015, is in Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, 5 min. from the station, in a town with ideal facilities for students in terms of accommodation, university restaurant, sports, culture, etc...
Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, located in the Paris-Saclay cluster, is the second economic hub west of Paris and houses many industries in the transport sector and academic and scientific partners in phase with issues in the transport and mobility sectors. Many French grandes écoles and universities have set up here and together make up the Université Paris-Saclay, of international reputation, forming the training and research pole of the Paris-Saclay technological cluster, a sort of Silicon Valley à la française. Most of the international students are studying on this Campus.
Reconstructing the first seaplane, which made its maiden voyage in 1909: this is one of the projects undertaken by students of the Aeronautical Group, which also organizes first experiences of flying (airplane, helicopter, aerobatics), travel in airplanes, conferences, visits to companies, pilot's courses, etc.
Building and flying miniature airplanes: ESTACA Modelling provides an introduction to aero-modeling in all its forms: construction and flying of powered airplanes, gliders, or indoor aircraft. The association has launched the "Exceptional Gliders" project to provide the association with gliders of various dimensions (1.50 m to 4.40 m) and works together with former students.
It is our pleasure to invite you to study at ESTACA - Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile. We are an engineering school specialized in aeronautics, space, automotive, and railways (transports/transportation systems).
Today, ESTACA has become one of the leading engineering schools in France. Therefore, we intend to reinforce cultural and technical exchange by welcoming a growing number of students from all over the world.
The university faculty and staff, especially the International Department, will do their best to make your studies at ESTACA as exciting and motivating as we can. Your stay in France will be full of delightful memories and experiences.
All international students will be part of the alumni network once they complete their study period at ESTACA. The ESTACA Career Service is in charge of helping young engineers to find employment. It provides students with essential tips to find jobs, such as: strengthening students' CV and cover letters, targeting the right companies, analyzing market approach, providing interview simulations, etc.
Many clubs will welcome you to participate in their challenges. They are managed by students who have a passion for their discipline (airplanes, automobiles, trains, etc.) and sports, arts, or student life. You will find many opportunities to develop your passions and diverse activities that will enrich your life at ESTACA.
