A member of the Université du Québec network, École de Technologie supérieure (ÉTS) specializes in application engineering and technology. Its activities are geared toward co-operative education, with a particular focus on developing new technologies and transferring them to companies.
Close to 25% of all bachelor-level engineering students in Québec study at ÉTS, which ranks it first among all academic institutions that offer this type of program at the undergraduate level. It also ranks among the four largest engineering schools or faculties in Canada.
