Dunwoody believes that students learn best when they are actively engaged with their subjects. That means they do while learning and learn by doing. Moreover, our faculty and staff are the same way. We practice what we teach.
It begins with learning. However, that is only the beginning. At Dunwoody, we challenge students to come determined and graduate destined. That means being ready to do things, ready to apply that learning, and understanding that knowledge alone will never truly satisfy. If you are hungry, if you have a passion, if you are determined to learn, create, make, and refine – Dunwoody is right for you.
We welcome students from all backgrounds – new high school graduates, returning military members, and adults who want to hone marketable skills. Dunwoody will provide you with state-of-the-art labs, real-world tools, and educators who have worked as professionals in the field. If you bring the determination, we will make sure you get the education.
Dunwoody College of Technology seeks to emerge as a first-choice, nationally-recognized technical education leader, providing a full college experience rooted in innovative education.
Dunwoody changes lives by building opportunities for graduates to have successful careers, to develop into leaders and entrepreneurs, and to engage in "the better performance of life's duties." For over 100 years, employers have hired more than 250,000 of our graduates. Why? Because they know our instructors are leaders in their fields, and our students learn technologies that are not only up-to-date but out in front. Employers are confident that Dunwoody graduates are a step ahead of the competition.
Dunwoody's education builds more than a resume. It builds a work ethic and problem-solving skills prized by business and industry leaders alike – many of whom are also alumni. Our graduates are in-demand because our active, experiential approach to education fully prepares them to hit the ground running. We are sure; once you experience Dunwoody first hand, you will feel like you already belong here.
