CCU is committed to providing an excellent educational, spiritual, and social experience for each student.
Cincinnati Christian University exists to educate men and women to live by biblical principles and transformed lives, empowering them with character, skills, insight, and vision to advance the kingdom and impact Christ's society.
CCU is committed to providing a Christ-centered, liberal arts education taught with a Christian worldview in students' chosen field of study. When you step onto campus, the warmth of students and faculty is apparent. Come to a place where you can grow into the person God wants you to be.
At CCU, faculty members hold the highest degrees in their field, and they invest their time outside of the classroom to equip students to succeed in the professional world. They apply both real-world and academic experience to create classrooms that challenge students to grow.
The Bridge Academy offers high school students the opportunity to take college courses at Cincinnati Christian University through College Credit Plus (CCP). College Credit Plus is an initiative authorized by the Ohio Department of Education that provides more options for students to pursue rigorous academic coursework beyond the high school classroom.
Under College Credit Plus, students can complete up to 30 credits per year, and up to 120 credits total through their high school career. Our courses are fully accredited and will transfer to any college or university. Additionally, our program allows students to take college courses on the university campus, online, and select partner high schools.
Ohio public, private, and home school students are eligible to participate in the CCP program. The State of Ohio may pay for up to 15 credit hours of coursework per semester, though funding for private school and home school students is not guaranteed.
Students can apply to the CCU Bridge Academy at any time without CCP funding and will still receive reduced tuition through our Parent Pay option. All tuition, fees, and charges are set by the Cincinnati Christian University Board of Trustees and are subject to change.
Students who are eligible for Federal Work-Study are given priority in being hired for on-campus jobs. Eligibility for this need-based program is determined by the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students earn wages and receive paychecks just as with other employment.
At CCU, Federal Work-Study students are responsible for securing their jobs and are not guaranteed positions. A limited number of on-campus jobs will be available each school year. Student-Worker Applications should be submitted to the Human Resources Office.
