On top of your regular coursework, managing items necessary to your enrollment at CSULB can seem daunting. Current students can use our site for easy-to-follow information regarding class registration, degree progress and advising, filing to graduate, and various other resources. Our campus offers multiple alternative options for accessing programs and courses offered for visitors to CSULB, who are taking classes at The Beach! Additionally, you can find information on the senior citizen program, CSU Fully Online, the Young Scholars program (available to high school students), CCPE programs, and other non-traditional access programs. CSULB wants to stay connected with former students and alumni. Our sites offer up easy solutions for readmission, accessing your transcripts, and our policies on releasing student information (FERPA).

    We create inclusive communities that foster student health and wellness, personal and social development, academic excellence, and good citizenship. In collaboration with our campus partners, we are responsive to our resident's and clients' needs and endeavor to provide high-quality service. There are many on- and off-campus job opportunities for CSULB students. The Career Development Center offers various services to help CSULB students explore careers and prepare for life after The Beach. It also offers CareerLink, which provides students with the ability to search and apply for full-time and part-time jobs, internships, and on-campus interview opportunities. The Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) is a 126,500-square-foot, two-story, state-of-the-art recreation facility located on the California State University's east side Long Beach campus. The facility is a hub for recreational activities, programs, and opportunities for Intramural Sports, Fitness, and Wellness services.

    The 49er Shops Dining Services are proud to serve the campus community with a large selection of healthy, sustainable, and culturally diverse dining options. Whether you are in the mood to relax and hang out, or buckle down and study, every dining location provides you with a unique atmosphere to fit your needs. Providing leadership and direction to achieve a positive, continuing, and vigorous campus nondiscrimination and equal opportunity program that goes well beyond the fulfillment of basic regulatory and procedural requirements to one with emphasis on providing positive attention to serving the campus's needs. Disabled Student Services assists students with disabilities as they secure their university degrees at California State University, Long Beach. Associated Students, Inc. is a nonprofit membership association and auxiliary organization of the University. ASI's mission is to improve the quality of campus life for students while enhancing their educational experience. Students automatically become members of the association when they pay their mandatory student fees at registration.

    Under the leadership of the Associate Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs, the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) at California State University, Long Beach serves the University community by creating a campus environment that is conducive to promoting research and other scholarly activities that contribute to the mission of the University.With a primary emphasis on faculty-student research engagement, the office provides leadership, information, direction, resources, training, and technical assistance to faculty and students engaged in externally funded research, instruction, community service, and other scholarly activities. In accomplishing this mission, ORSP ensures ethical practices for both human subjects and animal care and use in the conduct of research, fiscal accountability, compliance, and stewardship for sponsored programs as directed by the core values of the University and by all applicable Federal, State, and University policies, procedures, and regulations.

    The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) has completed several policies and procedure updates. Beginning in April 2018, we encourage you to review our website for updates. Here you will find the following updated policies and procedures: Subrecipient Policy, Financial Conflict of Interest Policy, Administrative Cost Charging on Federal Grants, Allocating Cost to Sponsored Awards, Cost Share / Match Policy, Program Income, Responsibilities, and Qualifications of PI's, Unallowable Expenses, and the Signature Authority Guideline. These policy and procedure updates will ensure that sponsored program expenditures comply with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) CSU Long Beach and CSU system broad policies.

    The URAC guides the University's research agenda, including strategic research initiatives, major requests for research program allocations, reviewing applications for internal research funding initiatives, research core facilities, and general issues concerning research program infrastructure that could substantively improve existing research programs at the University.
