Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) is Thailand's leading University in the field of vocational learning. The University develops students of international quality, capable of using scientific and technological concepts in their professions. It accomplishes this through a hands-on learning system.
"The Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna," in 1975 named "Technology and Vocational college," was an educational institute in vocational Department, Ministry of Education. His Majesty the King was renamed the college to "Rajamangala Technology Institute," and was "Rajamangala University Act,2005". Due to the act, Rajamangala Technology Institute" in various regional parts of the country were formed to 9 universities under the higher education committee's supervision.RMUTL is one of the ninth of RMUTL across the country, consists of 6 campuses Chiang Rai, Tak, Nan, Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, Lampang.
