The State University of Management

The State University of Management successfully carries out international cooperation at the regional and global levels with universities and educational centers of foreign countries. The primary purpose of international cooperation is the integration of the University in the world's educational space.

SUM students can study for one semester in a foreign university with which SUM signed an agreement on academic exchanges. SUM actively cooperates with 35 partner universities from Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea. Partner universities offer English instruction in a wide range of areas of study, from economics and management to history and language courses. According to the results, students receive an official certificate of courses taken and credited credits (ECTS).

Besides, international students of partnering universities can come on a semester basis in SUM. Training is conducted both in English and Russian (with sufficient proficiency in Russian).

Academic Exchange allows you to build and maintain friendly relations with international partners. Today, our students have successfully obtained their education abroad. In turn, we make every effort to ensure that students from other countries feel comfortable in the SUM and receive a high-quality education.

According to the aims of the Foundation course, its' primary functions are:

• The University accepts international students – course participants from different countries with the help of organizations with which the SUM collaborates.
• Participation in advertising campaigns and other activities to provide the University with international students.
• Consulting assistance to the international students of the foundation course about their rights and duties.
• Formation of contracts with international students who are studying contractually.
• Dormitory accommodation (following University dormitory direction)
• Passport and Visa control for international students – course participants.
• Access international students to information about the University, its' institutions, education programs, and foundation courses.
• Invitation of current academic staff and professors from other universities for teaching international students following the curriculum.
• Organization of the studying process for international students – course participants.
• Progress monitoring of students.
• Invitation international students to study at SUM or other Russian University's main higher-educational programs.
