Guagua National Colleges (GNC) was established initially as Guagua National Institute (GNI) on June 18, 1918. The benevolent Rev. Fr. Nicanor M. Banzali started the school at that time with the support of a few civic-oriented families of Guagua and the approval of the Archbishop of Manila, Monsignor Michael O’Doherty.
We offer a student-centered learning experience that provides a wide range of teaching methods designed to sustain students’ aspirations, interests, and needs. Guagua National Colleges (GNC) also has modern and adequate facilities for academic studies, research, science, physical activities, extra-curricular programs, and socio-civic and religious activities. We also offer a Montessori program for elementary and high school that features holistic development for children – physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.
The distinctive modern and multi-story concrete buildings include teaching, sports, and recreational facilities that house 122 classrooms, nine (9) Science laboratories, two (2) Industrial Arts Shops, three (3) Administrative and Guidance Offices. Other facilities are:
