Since its inception in 2000, Iqra University Peshawar (now Iqra National University) has been gradually diversifying its degree programs based on rapid management, engineering, and computer science that are compatible with local as international requirements. Each new discipline is evaluated concerning the job market and the foreseeable future. Along with these disciplines, INU is the only University in KPK that ventured into a unique idea of Fashion designing in KPK. With the help of qualified foreign faculty, the department of Fashion & Design proved to be a great success.
INU's faculty is composed of highly dedicated, disciplined, and qualified instructors mostly trained in the USA, UK, Australia, China, and Pakistan having Ph.D. and MS degrees. As the educational environment counts a lot, INU has a well-furnished library, tennis courts, and swimming pool for INU students.
Education opens vistas for a bright future. INU ensures that the panorama of a bright future is retained, but the perspective increased in terms of providing quality education to the students.
Although a newly chartered university, INU has come a long way in providing quality education, a conducive learning environment, well equipped and up to date labs, well-stocked library and sports facilities like no other university in the private sector of KPK.INU stands as the only University that holds home to over three thousand students enrolled currently, the largest number of students enrolled in any private university in the province.
INU has been very active in promoting and hosting conferences, guest lectures, seminars, and various workshops to understand students beyond the classroom better. Much stress is placed on Research and Development, and the staff frequently publishes new research papers.
INU plans to work nationally and internationally on student exchange programs, research projects, and teachers-exchange programs, paving its way towards achieving a distinctive status.
