- Trelewis Primary School! Our school is a Primary school located in the village of Trelewis. Our school serves the communities of Trelewis, Treharris, and surrounding areas and caters to pupils aged 3 - 11. Trelewis Primary School is a happy and successful school where all of our pupils are given every opportunity to meet their full potential and 'reach for the stars!' Our school building is a modern and bright building with well-resourced classrooms to support the learning process. There are 8 classes within the school ranging from Nursery to Year 6 and all are equipped with ICT resources, books, library areas, and day-to-day resources that will allow our pupils to carry out the tasks they are set to develop their learning. Our school grounds are extensive and include our schoolyard, school forest, playing field, and trim trail. There is plenty of space around the school to provide our pupils with lots of different environments in which to explore their learning. Our school is a Platinum Eco School and our eco council has worked hard to make sure our outdoor areas are just as inviting as our indoor areas! The Pupils, Governors, and Staff at our school work hard together to ensure that our school is a happy and successful place. We have won many awards and grants as a result of our hard-working School Community. Trelewis Primary School is located just off the main high street in Trelewis and can be accessed via our school's footbridge. We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up-to-date information for parents, pupils, and the wider community. At Trelewis Primary School we pride ourselves on holding a vision for our pupils that ensures that all pupils achieve the very best education.
