Our aim, in partnership with parents and the local community, is to give all pupils the best start to their school careers. Ensure arrangements at Thorpe Hall Primary School support the school in meeting the aim of ‘caring for every child’. This policy outlines policies, procedures, and expectations regarding the dropping off and collecting of children at the start and the end of the day and also arrangements for collection during the school day. As the vast majority of our pupils live within walking distance of the school, families are strongly encouraged to walk to school. For those families using cars please ensure you do not stop outside of the school on the yellow lines. Additional traffic and parked cars around school pose a serious unnecessary risk to children as well as additional congestion. View full school
