- Southville is a popular school, based in Feltham, London Borough of Hounslow. We have up to 360 pupils on the roll, aged between 3 and 7. It is a very special place that combines a hardworking, determined, and aspirational ethos with a happy, friendly, and fun atmosphere. Southville Infant and Nursery School is a special place in which to learn and a great place to work. Southville Infant and Nursery School have high expectations of success and development for every individual child. We aim to do achieve this by providing an outstanding level of pastoral care within a nurturing environment. Which includes, but is not limited to providing an untroubled, secure, caring, healthy, safe, and stimulating environment in which children will want to learn, with the children’s welfare being paramount. We are constantly looking for new ways to raise standards, and to further improve our provision to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the children to ensure they are getting the best support possible and to assist our pupils in developing lively, enquiring minds. We strive to provide outstanding support and intervention for all children with additional needs. We are passionate about ensuring that all children have access to a dynamic, creative, exciting curriculum to strengthen the desire in pupils to take an active role in their learning. We aim to guide children towards becoming inquisitive learners with a passion for life and learning to enable every pupil to reach their full potential, academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We acknowledge the importance of providing the children with positive, inspiring role models (including staff and visitors to the school). We value the important role that parents play in their children’s education and seek to support them in this important role creating opportunities for parents to be active partners in their children's learning and for them to take become an active part of the general life of the school.
