Beit Shvidler Primary School is a voluntary aided, co-educational, Orthodox Jewish primary school located in Edgware which promotes a strong commitment to Orthodox Jewish practice, Torah values, the love of Israel, and educational excellence. It has a broad range of families who have a shared commitment to Shabbos, Kashrus, and community involvement, together with ongoing learning and religious growth. Beit Shvidler Primary School has a reputation for outstanding Chol and Jewish studies and is based in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art building that opened in 2012. It is a school that is well-resourced, and it utilizes cutting-edge technology and practical resources to ensure that children meet their targets. Its Parent Teacher Association successfully contributes to developing the school through a wide range of activities that engage the local community. School children become independent, confident, and fully rounded individuals who are ready for their next stage in education. We explain that it is incumbent upon us to learn, develop and demonstrate skills and attitudes that enable us to contribute positively to life in modern Britain, but also that this outlook is mandated in the Torah. The school also focuses on motivating children to always behave with Derech Eretz and respect. It takes every opportunity to praise good behavior and give teachers a variety of ways to reward children.
