An Austria-wide unique semi-virtual learning concept, individual support, and extraordinary castle premises not far from Lake Wallersee - right in the heart of the Salzburg Lake District, more than 700 students are currently enjoying the benefits of their education at the Private University Schloss Seeburg. Our participants develop and develop entrepreneurial thinking and acting, as well as enjoying creativity and innovation. In doing so, we combine professional activity with academic training and prepare our students for specialist and management tasks through international leadership skills. In selected areas, we conduct interdisciplinary and application-oriented research and develop concrete solutions to practical questions. Each degree course has the topic of leadership in Austria in at least one field. Our applied research is also an essential pillar of our teaching. In communicating the competences, we use the entire range of teaching and learning methods and continuously incorporate current insights. Our didactic concept makes successful learning enjoyable. It promotes teamwork, the integration of modern media, and the partnership-based cooperation of motivated students and experienced teachers. Our professors combine current scientific findings with a high degree of practical relevance. Additional experts from business and science balance the tension between theory and practice. Through regular external evaluation, we intend to avoid undesirable developments. Private University Schloss Seeburg is accredited as a private university with all degree courses by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria). Students and graduates of Austrian private universities are equal to students and graduates of public law universities. This applies to the value of the academic degree and the state study support (study grant). The board of AQ Austria decided in its meeting of 28.06.2017 to grant the application of the private university Schloss Seeburg GmbH for accreditation of the doctoral program "Innovation and Creativity Management" at the location Seekirchen am Wallersee.
