- Al Sahwa Schools has been leading education in Oman for 25 years. Founded in 1992 with a mission to develop the next generation of leaders for the beautiful country of Oman. Al Sahwa’s outstanding curriculum supports our students in their quest for excellence. We follow the IB Primary Years Programme from KG1 to Grade 6, the Cambridge Curriculum from Grades 7 to 10, and the Omani General Education Diploma in Grades 11 & 12. This outstanding curricula offering is coupled with a rigorous program of Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Social Studies. Our co-academic programs are also specifically developed to ensure that our students fulfill our vision of being the leaders of the future. In all grades, we offer a rich sporting program coupled with specific leadership and entrepreneurship programs. We also provide activities such as Model United Nations, Toastmasters, and the International Award. Our campus is situated in the Shatti Al Qurum district of Muscat. This is one of the premier locations in Muscat and our neighbors include the major embassies as well as many restaurants and cafes. Al Shatti translates as ‘the beach’ and we are located a few minutes from the golden sands and the turquoise splendor of the Indian Ocean. Our stunning location lends itself to Al Sahwa’s environment of tranquility and calm. Al Sahwa is committed to providing a learning environment befitting our reputation as one of Oman’s finest schools. The physical environment continues to develop and the Board of Trustees is fully committed to further investing in the campus. Al Sahwa Schools is a regional leader in educational technology. We were the first school in Oman to be officially sanctioned to run Google Classroom, to receive licenses for Chromebooks and we have conducted seminars for Oman’s schools in conjunction with Google.
