- Roseheyworth Road this week. Miss Edwards will be job sharing with Mrs. Matthews in Reception and Mrs. Cole in Year 3. Miss Lambert is our new Year 2 teacher. Mr. Langdon is our Year 4/5 teacher. Mrs. Williams will work in our Nursery and Reception as a member of the support staff. Finally, Mr. Sirrell will be teaching Year 1 for the foreseeable future due to Mrs. Livingstone taking leave due to family circumstances. We appreciate that there are a lot of new faces around the school but please remember that you are welcome to arrange to meet with your child’s class teacher whenever you wish to. As you know, We are also new to the campus and hope to meet you all over the coming weeks. We will try to be outside most mornings. Please come and say hello when you are at the school. All parents are invited to attend a coffee morning next Tuesday 12th September between 9-11 am to meet both myself and Mrs. Matthews our new Deputy Head of Campus. On Fridays, we hold a celebration assembly where children from each class are presented with a Golden Certificate for excellent work or attitude. Starting next week, class teachers will send a slip home every Thursday to the parents of the Golden Certificate winners. Parents or other family members of the winners are invited into our assembly on Fridays at 9.10 am to see their child being awarded the certificate. We understand that family members will not always be able to attend due to the short notice but awarding the certificate any earlier in the week would not give all children in the class a chance to shine in their work or attitude. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to share your child’s achievements at school. We are currently organizing extra-curricular activities and a letter will be sent out very soon to inform you of the clubs open to your children this term. View full school
