      1. Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School was established in August 2003. Initially, the school enrolled just fifty pupils but over time, by the Grace of Allah, the school expanded and has gone from strength to strength. In September 2005 the school was extended to cater for Secondary pupils also. We now cater for pupils from Reception to the end of Year 11, teaching the National Curriculum Subjects as well as providing a solid Islamic education within a nurturing Islamic environment. Your daughter will, InshaAllah, leave Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School with the knowledge, maturity, and confidence to face a bright and successful future. Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School celebrates diversity and welcomes applications from children of all faiths and backgrounds. Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School thanks all of its past and current parents for their continuous support and cooperation. Our Vision is to establish a school of excellence both Islamic ally and academically. Our Mission is to empower the children with the highest academic standards and environment, to enable them to make a positive difference within society. The school aims are to: Deliver both the Islamic and National Curriculum within an Islamic environment. Provide the learning experiences which are appropriate for individual children to ensure their continuity and progression. Help all children realize their potential and acquire knowledge, concepts, and skills by building on previous experiences and success. Encourage children to be active participants in their learning process and provide practical learning situations relevant to the child’s experiences. To promote sound Islamic attitudes where children learn respect for others, form positive self-images and care for their environment, so that they may actively become responsible within the community. Our school will adhere to the following fundamental principles: To follow the Quraan and Sunnah in all our actions. To ensure the education of our pupils is paramount. Respect and tolerance for all. Collective teamwork. Striving for excellence in all that we do. All pupils have the right to equal opportunity through a stimulating and accessible curriculum. Our school will positively promote diversity and equality of opportunity, recognizing that we are here to serve a diverse and multi-racial society. We are committed to the view that organizations make better decisions if they are truly representative of the wider community. We provide high-quality teaching that enables the acquisition of skills, knowledge, and understanding which will be of use to all future learning. We promote, facilitate and enable the inclusion of children with disabilities and special educational needs and provide a broad and balanced curriculum that provides an opportunity for all pupils to acquire content through variation and differentiation. The school will usually only expel a pupil as a last resort after trying to improve the pupil’s behavior through other means. However, there are exceptional circumstances in which a school may want to decide to expel a pupil for a one-off offense. The decision to expel your child can be taken by the Head Teacher/Principal and the school trustees. Each class contains a range of equipment and materials to enable every subject to be taught. Also, there are specialist areas and other facilities, which include: Information Communication Technology Lab. Science Lab. Hall, Dining, assemblies, and indoor sports. Outdoor safe play area.
