The school’s ethos to be further enhanced through caring, warm and compassionate attitudes from staff, governors, parents, and children. To nurture in all persons positive attitudes to learning which will enable them to adapt to new ideas and methods and thereby achieve their full potential. To help pupils to develop lively, enquiring minds, the ability to question and argue rationally and to apply themselves to tasks, and physical skills. To help pupils acquire knowledge and skills relevant to adult life and employment in a fast-changing world. To help pupils to use language and numbers effectively. To instill respect for religious and moral values, and tolerance of other races, religions, and ways of life. To help pupils understand the world in which they live, and the interdependence of individuals, groups, and nations. To promote equality of opportunity and respect for all men and women irrespective of race and sex.
