ACT believes that re-connection and reunion with our former students are essential for the growth of the College. ACT offers many ways to keep you connected with fellow alumni, faculty, and staff. In addition to the Dean's Office, the Student Affairs Office encompasses the following areas: Admission and Registration, On-the-Job Training, Counseling and Graduates Follow-up, Housing, Student Activities, and Graduation. The College is more than just classroom lectures, home works, and examinations. Your education is a total learning experience, so we provide you an opportunity to develop your leadership and community skills, build lifelong friendships, enhance your personal and professional skills, and prepare you for a fulfilling and successful life ahead. To assist you in achieving your goals, Student Affairs have clearly defined its purpose and direction. The personnel of Student Affairs is available to assist you through the entire academic process. A variety of academic and non-academic services are available to you to complement and support your academic activity. The Student Affairs mission is to provide programs and services that support and enhance the College academic mission. We create and maintain programs, activities, and services for your personal and social development and foster a supportive academic environment. We endeavor to support your realization of your academic outcome. ACT helps students acquire the knowledge and skills they need for a better life. We develop the youth of Oman through education and extra-curricular activities and shape their future. The Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs works across the College to enhance the quality of undergraduate education. Part of the college mission is to provide students with opportunities to develop intellectually, ethically, socially, culturally, and personally. Academic Affairs ensures that the academic programs and learning environment support the college mission of other departments. Our faculty members are dedicated to providing our students with the knowledge and skills to make a difference in their chosen endeavor. Likewise, they always have time to attend to our students' needs. The Business Studies Department conducts need-based training and management development programs and encourage students to perform innovative activities. The Department exposes the students to the real workplace through industrial visits and guest lectures from various managerial experts in the industries. In this way, students can have the experience in the industrial arena that will equip them for a better understanding of varied aspects of Business Administration. Achieving and sustaining a strong reputation in excellent teaching and learning is one of ACT's missions. The College is dedicated to delivering high-quality technical education. It aims to produce graduates with the professional and personal skills to enter employment with confidence, thus contributing effectively to the Sultanate's ongoing economic development. ACT is committed to continuously harness the quality of teaching and learning through a holistic educational approach flexibly and dynamically with the use of emerging technology and a knowledge-wealth environment. We employ acceptable teaching practices, implement staff development programs, and improve facilities.
