Welcome to Lum Jean Monnet University. Our students are at the center of any activity: from university programs to extra didactic activities. Focused attention has enabled us to be ranked as the first UniversityUniversity in Italy for students' satisfaction. The dream translated into a reality thanks to my father's tenacity, the work of his closest collaborators, and all those who worked in this Free University, LUM Jean Monnet, founded as one of the first private universities to be established in the South of 'Italy. After a few years, we can today say that LUM is deeply rooted in the community, thanks to the faculty, which boasts among the most talented national and international researchers. LUM has become a landmark, institutionally, and culturally. With passion, I intend to continue my father's work and the challenge and legacy he has left us. Our commitment is to grow the UniversityUniversity following the philosophy that informed its foundation: constantly updated educational offerings creating effective institutional channels to encourage easy and profitable dialogue between students and teachers diversification of scientific research The directions of the development plan studied have been: design and implementation of the modernization of facilities, completing the creation of the university campus, intensification of international relations and allowing student mobility within the European Community, definition of new training, and creating better synergy between innovation and the world of work. The goal remains - to establish professional excellence in the professional world - be it in public or private institutions. To be aware of the country's economic and social development while providing an essential supply of goods and services to the private and public sectors that meet the high efficiency and ethics criteria. LUM Jean Monnet University has long since started, intensifying international agreements with foreign universities, to pursue a policy of progressive projection of the student body to an international dimension and a gradual enlargement of the attainment of the Ateneo towards a delocalized dimension about the territorial context in which it is established and rooted. The LUM Jean Monnet University was founded in 1995 by Senator Joseph Degennaro. From the outset, the teachers selected were among the most well known and prestigious Italian and foreign professors working at the time.
