And because we are Central New York’s only prekindergarten through grade 12 school, MPH students enjoy being part of a community of learners, all on one campus. In our intentionally small classes, our distinguished, imaginative faculty give individual attention to every student, allowing each the opportunity to excel. At MPH we value curiosity and exploration and empower students to become passionate about subjects and activities they might never have dreamed would interest them. A seventh-grader debates the merits of the American Revolution—from the American and British points of view. A ninth-grader works with a Syracuse University professor on original neuroscience research. A boy who thought he was too short for basketball ends up loving the sport. Here, students also build respectful, supportive relationships with their teachers and classmates that last a lifetime. The list of colleges and universities MPH graduates attend is impressive, but more important are the qualities that take root here and allow them to flourish throughout their lives. They are engaged with the world beyond school, and, while they know what they stand for, they understand the importance of diverse points of view. Their MPH education teaches them to approach problems creatively in all spheres of life they are not afraid of risk and eagerly embrace change.
